Chronic wounds heal on technique and consistency, not luck. Our nurses assess the wound bed, choose the right dressing rather than the one that happens to be in the cupboard, and photograph progress so you can see whether it is genuinely improving.
What the visit includes
- Wound assessment, measurement and photographic tracking
- Sterile cleaning, debridement and appropriate dressing selection
- Diabetic foot, pressure sore and venous ulcer management
- Infection monitoring and swabs where indicated
- Practical prevention advice for the household

- Pressure sores in bed-bound or wheelchair users

Wound Care & Dressing — your questions
How often will the dressing need changing?
It depends on the wound and the dressing — anywhere from daily to twice a week. The nurse will set a schedule at the first visit and adjust it as the wound changes.
Do you supply the dressings?
Yes, we bring sterile supplies to each visit and charge for what is used. If you already have a specific product your specialist prescribed, we will use that.
