Newborn & Mother Care
The first weeks with a newborn are the ones nobody prepares you for, especially far from family. A maternity nurse helps with feeding, settling and your own recovery — and answers the questions you did not want to bother the hospital with.

Newborn & Mother Care — your questions
Is this the same as a nanny?
No. A maternity nurse is a licensed clinician who can assess your baby and your own recovery, not childcare help. Many families move to a nanny once the clinical part is settled.
How long do families usually book for?
Most book two to six weeks, often nights only. Some book a handful of daytime visits purely for feeding support. Both are fine.
